Flood Plain Permits

The Stormwater Management Division is responsible for issuing floodplain permits. Floodplain permits are typically required for development occurring within the FEMA designated floodplain. Permits are issued to ensure compliance with local ordinance and Federal regulations. The applicant is required to provide an elevation certificate as part of the floodplain permit process.
