Putting the Customer-First
Mayor Demings' launched the Customer-First Initiative in 2019 to ensure that Orange County Development Services is providing the highest level of Customer Service. Customers and staff have been highly engaged in this program and our staff members are dedicated to fostering a Customer-First culture. Please join our newsletter to receive updates about this program's initatives and participate in our regularly scheduled Customer-First Q&A Sessions. You may also view all past session recordings, or leave us feedback using Permitting Survey, Plan Review Survey, Inspections Survey and Fast Track Customer Survey.
In his 2019 State of the County Address, Mayor Demings stated, “As we build our community together, we want Orange County to be known not only as the premier place to do business, but ground zero for the entrepreneurial spirit and a hub for innovation. We want to be intentional about fostering a culture of top notch customer service in our Orange County Government operations.” The Customer-First program consists of several phases: self-assessment, customer feedback, action item identification, solution development and implementation. Currently, the implementation phase is well under way and staff and customers appreciate a noticeable impact.
